Refund and Returns Policy

Overview

This policy explains when a refund applies to an assignment order placed with Ask Assignment, and how disputes over delivered work are handled. It's written for the service we actually provide — academic writing and editing support — not a generic retail policy.

Cancelling Before Work Starts

If you cancel your order before a writer has been assigned and work has begun, you're entitled to a full refund. Once a writer has started on your assignment, a partial refund may apply depending on how much work has already been completed — we'll always tell you honestly where things stand before confirming any refund amount.

Quality Disputes

If the delivered work doesn't match the brief, rubric or instructions you provided, you're entitled to free revisions until it does. If, after revisions, you still believe the work doesn't meet what was agreed, you can request a review of the specific issues — citing the brief and rubric against the delivered work — and we will assess it fairly. Refunds for quality disputes are considered on a case-by-case basis once that review is complete, not automatically granted or automatically refused.

Late Delivery

If your assignment is delivered after the deadline you were quoted, you're entitled to compensation reflecting how late the delivery was, which may include a partial refund or a discount on your next order, depending on the circumstances. Contact us as soon as you notice a deadline has been missed so we can resolve it quickly.

How to Request a Refund

Email orders@askassignment.com with your order details and the reason for your request. We aim to respond within 24 hours and resolve most requests within a few business days.

What Doesn't Qualify for a Refund

A change of mind after the work has been completed to the agreed brief
Requests made after you have submitted the work for grading
Dissatisfaction with a grade received, where the delivered work matched the brief and rubric you provided
